Наші фахівці у Великобританії та Україні безкоштовно оцінять ваші шанси, проконсультують роботодавця та нададуть весь спектр послуг обом сторонам (від подачі документів до отримання візи та юридичної підтримки у Великобританії) по категорії  Skilled Worker Visa.

Dear Ivan Kostenko,

Your application for a UK visa (vignette) has been successful. This letter is not a permission to travel to the UK.

Before you can travel to the UK, you will need to collect your visa. Please do not attempt to travel to the UK until you have collected your visa.

We will contact you when your visa is ready to collect from the visa application centre where you submitted your application.

Please do not visit the visa application centre until you are contacted.

This letter explains that when you arrive in the UK you will have permission to be in the UK (known as Leave to Enter) as SKILLED WORKER MIGRANT from 20 Oct 2022 to 14 Jun 2023.

What this means for you

When you collect your passport/travel document it will contain a visa, which you will use to travel to the UK. The visa is valid for 90 days and you should travel before the visa expiry date. If you do not arrive to the UK within this 90 day period you will need to apply for a visa transfer, the fee for which can be found at www.gov.uk/visa-fees.

What you must do after arrival in the UK

After you arrive in the UK you should collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). This is the evidence of your permission to stay in the UK and you will need to use it to prove your right to  work, rent a home and to access public funds and to travel from the UK. You must collect your  BRP from the collection point below before your visa expires or within 10 days of arriving in the UK, whichever is the later.

If you are required to quarantine in line with UK government guidance, please do not visit your collection point until after your quarantine period has expired. If this takes you beyond your vignette expiry date, your BRP will be held at your collection point for 90 days from the start date on your vignette and will be available for collection once you are able to collect.

We recommend that you follow the COVID-19 immigration and BRP advice on GOV.UK:

             https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-  temporary-uk-residents

             https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect

UK Visas and Immigration is an operational command of the Home Office

If you leave the UK before you collect your BRP you may experience delays at the border upon your return, while further checks are made.

Your collection point is:

POST OFFICE - PERTH 91-97 HIGH STREET PERTH

PH1 5TJ

When you go to collect your BRP you must bring your passport/travel document containing the vignette. Please also bring this letter as it will help the staff to locate your BRP quickly.

If your collection point is at a Post Office, you can find out more at: www.postoffice.co.uk

Your BRP card will be available for collection two weeks from the date of issue of your visa.

Collecting your BRP at a Post Office if you are aged under 18

If you are under 18 years old and will be collecting your BRP at a Post Office it is very important that you read page 8 of the guidance at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/biometric-  residence-permits-overseas-applicant-and-sponsor-information before going to the Post Office.

You must be accompanied by a “Responsible Adult”, or you will be turned away by the Post Office staff. Your parent or legal guardian can be your Responsible Adult but only if they are collecting their own BRP at the same time. In all other cases the adult who will accompany you must be approved in advance by the Home Office, even if they are your parent or legal guardian.

It will take at least a week to process a request to approve a Responsible Adult, and we cannot speed it up because that person is about to leave the UK, so apply as early as you can

Further information on permission to enter and stay in the UK

It is very important that you know exactly what permission you have, including any conditions attached to it, and what they mean. This is because if you breach these conditions, you could be committing a criminal offence, your permission could be cancelled and you may be required to leave the UK.

If you have been granted permission as a Skilled Worker, International Sportsperson or Minister of Religion, your National Insurance Number (NINo) will appear in the remarks on the reverse of your biometric residence permit (BRP), so there is no need for you or your employer to make a separate application to the Department for Work and Pensions to obtain one. Further information about the National Insurance Number can be found at: www.gov.uk/national-insurance

If you have a police registration condition attached to your permission it will no longer appear on your BRP. If you are required to register with the police this will be confirmed on your vignette, which you will need to show when you register with the police. If you are required to register you must do so within 7 days of your arrival in the UK. For information on registering with the police please visit: www.gov.uk/register-with-the-police.

The police registration requirement may appear on your visa as any of the following:

Pol Reg

Pol Registration

Police Registration within 7 days of UK entry Police Registration within 7 days of arrival

Police Registration within 7 days of arrival in the UK

Where you have been granted 6 months or 33 months Entry Clearance under Appendix FM, the endorsement on your vignette indicates the basis on which you have been granted leave under the

Rules. That will also enable you to identify when you are likely to be able to apply for settlement (assuming that you continue to meet the relevant requirements):

Where the endorsement on your vignette includes the phrase:

  • (Standard)

it means that you are currently on a 5 year route to settlement. If you continue to meet the requirements and make the appropriate applications for further leave to remain, you are likely to be eligible to apply for settlement in 5 years.

Where the endorsement on your vignette includes the phrase:

  • (Non-Standard 1) – because you satisfy the requirements of paragraph GEN.3.1. of Appendix FM; or
  • (Non-Standard 2) – because you satisfy the requirements of paragraph GEN.3.2. of Appendix FM;

it means that you are currently on a 10 year route to settlement. If you continue to meet the requirements and make the appropriate applications for further leave to remain, you are likely to be eligible to apply for settlement in 10 years. If you are later able to meet the requirements and make an appropriate application, it is open to you to switch to start a 5 year route; however, time spent  on the 10 year route will not be counted towards it.

Further guidance on route to settlement under Appendix FM can be found at:  www.gov.uk/government/publications/chapter-8-appendix-fm-family-members

If you have a problem collecting your BRP

Please visit www.gov.uk/brp for more information on the following:

  • Your passport is lost or stolen before you collect your BRP
  • You want to collect a BRP on behalf of a family member
  • You want someone else to collect your BRP on your behalf
  • If your collection point is the Post Office and you want to collect your BRP from a different Post Office branch

Yours sincerely,

UK Visas & Immigration, Home Office.
